I first met the lovely Frida in the local park one early morning while I was doing tai chi in 2019. She approached some of us ladies and asked if we would like to join in some kundalini yoga. I didn’t know anything about Yoga. Frida was practising to become a teacher and what a teacher she has become!!
Through her guidance, she has taught me how to breathe properly, how to energise how to become more supple, how to get rid of negativity allowing yourself to let go of everything that doesn’t serve me. Throughout lockdown, via zoom she helped me through some dark days, help me rid myself of anxiety and stress.
During the sessions of different Kriyas, Chanting, mantras and meditations I find myself fully immersing in the practice which gives me a sensation of almost spiritual awareness.
I love all the detoxifying Kriyas and how Frida explains what each part is doing to our organs and senses.
I wish I had met Frida years ago. Now in my late 60s I think I would of been in a better place a more peaceful mindfulness earlier but it’s never too late to get there, and I am slowly, but surely getting there.
I have more confidence, energy and positivity and have learnt through the breath-calmness.
The early morning Sadhana, arriving tired and leaving with the Sun up, energises me for the whole day.

When I was looking for a Yoga class to join back in 2020, I could never have imagined what awaited me after finding Frida’s leaflet.

I would like to become more committed to utilising what Frida has taught me outside of the sessions to practice Kuṇḍalinī in my own time. I started Kuṇḍalinī Yoga in 2020 in Zoom, because of Corona. I was feeling down and my Thyroid medication increased and feeling fatigued. I joined Kuṇḍalinī Yoga with low self-esteem, and my mood was up and down.
After practicing with Frida once a week I started to see big changes, my Thyroid medication started to work, feeling better day by day, and sleep better, think better, walked, and talk better my dosage decrees to 50mg.
Kuṇḍalinī Yoga has without a doubt changed my body, health, and entire outlook and life for the better.
Practicing after a year Kuṇḍalinī Yoga becomes my lifestyle has helped me improve my physical strength, flexibility, and balance, as well as mental clarity, emotional balance, and also spiritual connection. Since starting Yoga with Frida, I have noticed a significant difference in my life. When I started, I was a true beginner. I’d never done yoga before and nor did I know the names of any asanas (positions). Frida was patient yet always encouraging me to lovingly push myself – a way of being that I’ve learnt a lot from. I notice now, 8 months since my first session, that I feel significantly more embodied, present and grounded.

While I’d had some experience with breathwork before, Frida taught me
how to breathe naturally, like we do as newborns. This involves taking full breaths, slightly squeezing the naval in on the outbreath to allow us to take a full, expansive inbreath. This alone has caused a significant shift, as taking full breaths significantly reduces stress and allows me to let go of ways of being that don’t serve me anymore.
Speaking of letting go, as I have continued to be more present with my body, I’ve begun to be more present with my own emotional pain. I know from my work as a therapist that unprocessed emotional pain is stored in the body, and during my yoga journey I have been able to be in closer contact with this pain. It is this loving presence that allows the pain to shift and move through me as I consciously let it go. In my clinical work I have brought in some of the techniques Frida has taught me
which have given my practice a more holistic and integrative feel.
Frida’s classes are powerful for me as she incorporates both the ancient sciences of Kundalini Yoga and Qi-Gong as well as creating a safe community for us all to discuss the impact the sessions are having on us. We always finish with a meditation and period of deep relaxation which helps me to ground myself before travelling home.
Kundalini Yoga can give me powerful energetic experiences, so these calming exercises to finish showcase Frida’s well thought out approach to these sessions, making sure our energy is at a safe level before the class ends.
The benefits I’ve experienced from these classes are not only in my body, which feels significantly freer and looser than it did before, but also emotionally. I feel significantly more regulated than I did before and also more empowered. My energy levels are also higher and while it may be hard to prove, I can say that my overall health has improved since starting these classes. I would recommend these sessions for anyone as you will be made to feel welcome no matter who you are, your level of experience or knowledge of the subject.
Since starting I have not looked back and whenever I have any questions, Frida has always been supportive and generous in sharing her extensive knowledge with me.

Having been practicing Kundalini Therapeutics with Frida for the past two years I have noticed the continuous and numerous benefits of the practice in my life.
One of the first changes I noticed was increased connection to my body and my
breath through our breathwork and grounding asanas. Once this connection was
established through the yoga, it allowed me to notice my breath outside of the
practice and to enjoy a lightness in my chest and body that would not have
previously been possible. I recall being surprised by how quickly and profoundly I
was affected by the practice in the initial months as I had the sense of having
released years of tension, contractions and repressed emotions from my body and
psyche in such a short period.
With time I noticed other benefits, particularly an increased sense of self-awareness
and intuition that had been cultivated from our repeated practice of turning our
attention inward through meditations and extended session lengths. This
strengthened sense of insight has been both empowering and peaceful.
Frida provides and facilitates a sense of community through our shared practice
which has allowed for an increased sense of positive regard for myself and others.
The shared nature of our practice and the sharing of our reflections and experiences
as a group have fostered a feeling of community, belonging and an enhanced ability
to give and receive. This enhanced sense of connection to others extends beyond
the group to all areas of my life, for which I am grateful.
Through my continued practice under Frida’s guidance I have noticed a significant
shift in my energy levels, a heightened feeling of aliveness and an integration of
different parts of my consciousness through becoming in touch with my prana.
Practicing Kundalini Therapeutics has also led to a new relationship with spirituality for me, which has been an unexpected gift.
Frida has always made herself available to provide support and guidance throughout
my journey over the years which is much appreciated, thank you Frida.
